Aaron Angel SALAS SANCHEZ received the Physics degree in 2012, the MSc in Engineering Mathematics in 2014 and the Ph.D. degree in Mathematical Modelling and Numerical Simulation in Engineering and Applied Science in 2018 by the University of Santiago de Compostela, Spain. He was visiting scholar in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology at the University Federico II of Naples, Italy, in 2015. He was also a Xunta de Galicia International Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Applied Physics, University of Santiago de Compostela from 2018 to 2022, and Visiting Postdoctoral Researcher in ELEDIA Research Center at University of Trento from 2018 to 2021.
He is currently a Researcher at the Department of Civil, Environmental and Mechanical Engineering (DICAM) at the University of Trento, and a Research Fellow of the ELEDIA Research Center.
His main research interests are focused on numerical methods in solving electromagnetic problems and antenna system synthesis for sensing and communications.
