The ELEDIA Research Center is pleased to announce an upcoming open PhD position on the exploration of “Conceptual multifunctional and multi-physics reconfigurable metamaterials”.
The selected PhD Student will join a transdisciplinary team of Researchers and Professors and will have opportunity to broaden his/her expertise in a wide variety of domains from fundamental MTM science and engineering to advanced numerical modeling of reconfigurable materials, as well as applications of Artificial Intelligence in metamaterial design.
The aim of the research carried out during the PhD program will be to study, design, model, and validate innovative reconfigurable metamaterial concepts in a wide range of engineering domains including electromagnetics, acoustics, and mechanics.
