Music, Research… and Smart Sensing!
On March 21st, the historic Salone dei Cinquecento in Florence’s Palazzo Vecchio hosted “Note di cuore: musica per la ricerca”, a charity event by Fondazione AIRC supporting cancer research.
During the whole day — from setup to the evening’s celebrations, ELEDIA E-MUSEUM system was at work, accurately detecting the occupancy.
How?
E-MUSEUM uses only temperature and humidity data collected by low-cost, long-life wireless IoT sensors to estimate room occupancy in real time.
This real-world application highlights E-MUSEUM commitment to enhancing cultural spaces by:
– Monitoring visitor flow
– Preserving privacy
– Enhancing environmental awareness
