NI Dong was born in Anhui Province, China, in 1989. He received the B.S. degree in Applied Physics from the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China (UESTC), Chengdu, China, in 2011. Currently, He is working towards the Ph.D. degree in Electromagnetic Field and Microwave Technology under the supervision of Professor Shiwen Yang in UESTC. His research work focuses on optimization algorithms, antenna design and synthesis, including the 4D antenna arrays, base-station antennas, and phased arrays
