WANG Mengchu received her B.Sc. degree in electrical engineering from Nanjing University of Science and Technology, China, in 2011, followed by an M.Sc. degree in Telecommunication from Delft University of Science and Technology, the Netherlands, in 2015, and a Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from Sapienza University of Rome, Italy, in 2022. Presently, she serves as a post-doctoral researcher in the Department of Electronic Engineering at Tsinghua University, Beijing, China. Additionally, she completed research internships at the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, Chengdu, China, from 2011 to 2012, and conducted visiting research at various institutions, including the National University of Ireland Galway (NUIG), Galway, Ireland, Scientific Research National Center (CNRS), France, and MITOS Medical Technologies, Turkey.

Her research focuses primarily on antenna design, dielectric properties measurement, and the development of microwave imaging systems for non-invasive monitoring of cerebral hemodynamics and liver ablation treatments. Mengchu Wang has authored and co-authored a book chapter, four journal papers, and over ten conference papers.

She is a member of IEEE, the Italian Electromagnetic Society (SIEm), and the European network for advancing Electromagnetic hyperthermic medical technologies (MyWAVE). Additionally, she has served as a reviewer for several IEEE journals, guest editor of Applied Sciences, and has chaired sessions at several international conferences. She has been awarded the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Doctoral Network Fellowship by the European Commission and recognized as a Shuimu Scholar by Tsinghua University.
