ELEDIA@AUTH, directed by Prof. Sotirios GOUDOS, is a research group hosted at the School of Physics of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (Thessaloniki, Greece) aimed at strengthening the cooperation with academic and industrial partners involved in joint research and project initiatives also in synergy with the other nodes of the ELEDIA international research network.
ELEDIA@AUTH research activities include all aspects of wired networking and wireless communications including antenna design, microwave engineering, telecommunications systems, IoT networks and semantic web, optimization methods (evolutionary algorithms), and also artificial intelligence like machine learning techniques, deep neural networks.
The ELEDIA@AUTH research group is devoted to the application of the above technology in the fields of modern wireless communications and networks, optimization techniques in 5G communication networks, massive MIMO techniques in emerging technologies, smart cities and urban environment, and IoT technologies.
