Abstract

Using interval arithmetic, the robustness of reconfigurable monopulse linear antenna arrays is assessed, focusing on element failures and random deviations from nominal values. Accurate bounds for the power pattern are established, illustrating deviations from ideal patterns and the implications of amplifier malfunctions. Preliminary results support the methodology's validity and promise.
