Abstract

This communication introduces a novel technique for the design of clustered phased arrays (PAs). The proposed strategy focuses on synthesizing complex excitations within the subarrays to achieve a desired power pattern. Several numerical test cases are presented to highlight the unique capabilities of the approach.
