TY - RPRT A1 - SALUCCI, Marco A1 - POLI, Lorenzo A1 - ZARDI, Francesco A1 - TOSI, Luca A1 - LUSA, Samantha A1 - MASSA, Andrea N2 - A novel multi-step inverse scattering technique is introduced within the contrast source inversion (CSI) framework to recover non-Born scatterers. This approach leverages a multi-resolution (MR) representation to characterize contrast sources, which are progressively reconstructed using a Bayesian compressive sensing (BCS) method. The effectiveness and stability of the proposed MR-BCS-CSI strategy are demonstrated through numerical case studies. Furthermore, comparisons with cutting-edge methodologies highlight its competitive performance.
