The synthesis problem is approached within the power pattern domain, introducing an innovative clustering method with complex excitations. This method decomposes the reference power pattern into a series of elementary patterns, equal in number to the array elements. A selection of representative results is provided to demonstrate the approach's capabilities and to evaluate its performance with respect to the state-of-the-art (SoA) excitation matching (EM)-based clustering techniques. publisher: ELEDIA Research Center - University of Trento date: 2024-11-01 type: Monograph type: NonPeerReviewed format: text language: en identifier: http://www.eledia.org/students-reports/897/1/Power_Pattern_Matching-Based_Design_of_Clustered_Phased_Arrays_A_Novel_Method_for_Linear_Arrays.pdf identifier: BENONI, Arianna and POLI, Lorenzo and ROCCA, Paolo and MASSA, Andrea (2024) Power Pattern Matching-Based Design of Clustered Phased Arrays: A Novel Method for Linear Arrays.
