Leveraging the concept of self-replicating tile shapes, or rep-tiles, the proposed method allows the optimization of array layouts comprising tiles of different sizes. These tiles are generated by assembling smaller, congruent copies of a single elementary building block. Employing a deterministic optimization strategy, the resulting rep-tile arrangement in the planar PA achieves an optimal compromise among complexity, costs, and adherence to user-specified requirements for the radiated power pattern while ensuring complete coverage of the array aperture.} }
