In questo modo si possono evitare anche problemi di surriscaldamento della struttura radiante in quanto ad esempio l'utilizzo di un minor numero di amplificatori può permettere la progettazione di un sistema di raffreddamento più efficiente così abilitando l'utilizzo di array di array di grandi dimensioni con grandi portate.
