Abstract

This work introduces a novel multi-step inverse scattering method within the contrast source inversion (CSI) framework, specifically designed to reconstruct non-Born scatterers. The technique models the unknown contrast sources using a multi-resolution (MR) approach, enabling a more flexible and detailed representation. These sources are then recovered iteratively using Bayesian compressive sensing (BCS). The performance and reliability of the MR-BCS-CSI method are validated through a set of numerical test cases.
