Abstract

A novel sparsity-based approach for near field antenna characterization is studied in the presence of truncation error. In particular, Bayesian Compressive Sensing (BCS) is employed which exploits the probabilistic sparsity and incorporates prior knowledge of the antenna under test (AUT) to construct an over complete representation basis. A set of numerical analysis is performed to verify the performance of the proposed method. In addition, the performance of BCS is compared with Orthogonal Matching Pursuit (OMP).
